Its constitution took place on 24th June 2008, under Law 3/1986, of December 18, of the School Councils of Galicia and Decree 44/1988, of February 11, which regulates the School Councils and the other application rules.
It is constituted as a consultative body and participation of the affected sectors in the non-university education program and in the planning of school centers in the municipal district, according to the Regulation of the Municipal School Board of A Guarda, published in the Official Bulletin of Pontevedra on 14th September 2004.
The Municipal School Board will be consulted and will issue the reports and proposals related to the questions provided in the applicable provisions.
