COMING RE-OPENING
Administrations need to be modernized to offer to the taxpayers the best services, as well as to provide citizens with access to them. In the Council we also are focus on this line of adaptation to new times.
The main purpose in this sense is to bring administration closer to citizens so that in the near future they have the possibility to carry out the managements with the city council with electronic administration systems.
The website in which this text can be read is an example of the work of this department.
We aim to maintain and enhance the computer classroom of the City Council to offer training in the use of computers and the Internet to those sectors of the population that most need it.
It is necessary to improve the information and communication media of the city council to make them safer and more efficient.
We also work to promote projects that involve energy savings, through the use of renewable energy by reducing consumption.
The Network of Centers for Modernization and Technological Inclusion of Galicia, the CeMIT Network of the Xunta de Galicia, is configured as an important vehicle for the implementation of initiatives aimed to promote ICT and the Information Society in our community and also of government policies in areas such as employability, business competitiveness, e-inclusion, well-being and e-administration.
