One of the main commitments of the Education Department of A Guarda Council is to meet the demands of the Educational Centers and work in coordination with them to ensure that the schools and their facilities are and are maintained in perfect condition.

We also want to collaborate with the educational task carries out by the teaching centers, organizing and participating in different didactic activities: theater, exhibitions, workshops, etc.

The Council is the responsible for convening the Municipal School Board, the forum where the educational issues affecting the whole town are addressed. Among all the agents involved in education, we have the responsibility to provide content to this advisory body.

It is also a responsibility that the administration should not elude, offer training to people who are no longer in school age but who need it, to obtain a degree that gives them access to the workplace or simply because they want to improve their training, the adult school.

The Municipal Conservatory, which we must pumper and promote, depends directly on the Council, and represents the only opportunity for many children of a town such as ours, far from the big cities, to start in the music world.
