A Guarda is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary places to live. We are a peaceful town with a rich history behind us, where ancient maritime traditions and rural customs live harmoniously with urban modernity. This is because A Guarda is both sea and river, countryside and city. Its streets and parishes are magical, its history is unique, its people are distinctive, and our culture, leisure, and gastronomy are extraordinary. In short, A Guarda is unique.
As the Mayor of A Guarda, I want to welcome you to our Town Hall, which is the home for everyone, whether you are a resident or a visitor.
My commitment as mayor, along with the entire team that accompanies me, is to contribute to the growth and expansion of our town’s progress so that our future is better and more prosperous. I have always believed that public administration involves solving the problems of our residents, and my commitment is to maintain the Mayor´s office open for all citizens. In this endeavor, I hope to have the collaboration of each one of you as responsible individuals and protagonists in the transformation of our town towards a new direction.
